KIMBERLY PETTY: CHILDBIRTH EDUCATOR, BIRTH & RN

Hi, I’m Kimmy Petty. I am a Labor and Delivery Nurse, wife, mother of three beautiful children, and above all else, a child of God. I created A Thrill of Hope Childbirth Ministries out of obedience to God’s calling and my desire to help women view birth as an exciting opportunity to see God, rather than a fearful, complicated medical event. My mission is to equip you with knowledge and encourage you as you walk with God through your pregnancy and childbirth journey.

As a nurse, I have the privilege of serving women in their most vulnerable times. My passion for birth and teaching took root early in my career and I now see how God has woven these into my service to Him.

My role as wife and mother have deepened my appreciation for God’s boundless love and unwavering devotion to us.  My personal experiences with birth illuminated the need for mental and spiritual preparation that I had not previously anticipated. 

My years of experience supporting women at the bedside in labor and delivery, combined with my own birth experiences, including out-of-hospital birth, provide me with a unique and comprehensive perspective. This blend of professional insight and personal understanding allows me to offer you practical information and heartfelt encouragement, equipping you for a confident and faith-filled journey to motherhood.
